Baseplate Only

Seems like a well-built baseplate and is easy to use, universal fit, good qualityt tripod plate and screws. I'm jazzed about the gold since I normally don't do cheeky on camera equipment, as it tends to draw attention from the wrong people, but this is a small style upgrade! I also like/appreciate the hidden compartment where the wrench is kept. The rubber base is one of the best features, IMO. It accomplishes two things: it keeps the camera base from getting overly scratched and, of course, serves as the wrench cover.

My one criticism is with the strap-to-baseplate hooks. I've never liked the triangular ones: they're too small for my hands/fingers and I'm a woman, so I can imagine people with much bigger hands will have some issues with them. I wish these were either circular or slightly larger to better accomodate fingers/hands.

I also think the price is a bit high compared to others, but not overly unreasonable.

This is the strap i have been waiting for all my life!
The camera hangs just where i like it. The connector on the camera integrates with my Leofoto tripod and Neewer quick release heads, too. I have had a camera by my side for more than 60 years. I couldn’t be happier. Well, let me correct that. I ended up with one of the straps and i am happier. It does not slip and is even nicer than my Peak Design strap! Whodaguessed! Me h a p p y…

Got this as a replacement to their older models, and it's fantastic! The attachment point for the hangars is much sturdier and won't wear out now.

Really enjoying the ease of used with landscape photography!!
