Just over a year ago, we started shipping rewards for our Kickstarter campaign. Since then, we've sold over 4,000 LemurStraps, and we couldn't be more grateful for the progress we've made and all of the support we've received!
We decided to launch on Kickstarter because of its reputation for jump starting young brands. Our Kickstarter campaign began on August 20, 2024. Over the course of 2 months, 1,150 backers helped us raise over $112,000! We were able to use this money to manufacture and deliver LemurStraps to all of our backers. We are very thankful to Kickstarter for providing us the platform to introduce our brand!
Shortly after our Kickstarter campaign ended, we launched our website! We have been selling direct to consumer on our site for over a year now. We've received over 100 5-star reviews, and we're proud to know that we have created a product that so many people love.
We currently offer the LemurStrap in two colors - black and bronze - as well as the baseplate, shoulder strap, tripod adapter, and wrench as separate items. We continue to tinker with the design of the LemurStrap and to implement customer feedback in each round of manufacturing. And we are excited to begin introducing more products to the market in 2026!
